Differences- Rhapsody&Vision vs Grandeur

Recommended Posts

I have been on Granduer several times yet my first cruise on Rhapsody is approaching. I have read they were built at different yards but there are some differences. You can tell them apart by the forward cabin windows as well as the stern of the ships.

Were they built by the same set of blue prints but have minor differences resulting from different shipyards or are there more differences that I am not seeing?

No, the Vision class was not built from the same set of prints. There are 3 sets of twin ships: Legend & Splendour, Grandeur & Enchantment, and Rhapsody & Vision.

Also, Grandeur and Enchantment have not been the same since 2005, when Enchantment was stretched.

From what I've read, Rhapsody and Vision are just tweaked (very slightly updated) versions of Grandeur and Enchantment (pre-stretch). There are some cabin differences in terms of placement and numbers particularly forward and aft cabins. The layout of the shops and photo gallery are slightly different.
