New to carnival ...what is 2.0?

Hey I'm sailing the glory in June and I've been reading the post here and people keep mentioning 2.0... What is that and is it on the Glory.

Glory has 2.0. It's Carnivals renovations and changes that have been made to some of the ships to "upgrade" the experience.

No most are free. The only ones you have to pay for are the drinks in the bars

Any tips about the spa? Do they offer deals on board or should I go ahead and book now?

If the Heat's in it will probably be on the big screen.

The spa will offer port day specials .. and sometimes other specials thru out the week. Anything to get people in the door.

The spa treatments offered on-line are the most expensive ones. Head up there on embarkation day and you can see the whole list of offerings. On port days the spa usually has good daily specials as well. All treatments are probably more than you would pay at home, so that decision is up to you! :-)

Also new... You can reserve a chair simply by leaving your towel on the top. I prefer to make my own little "reserved" sign, but a towel will suffice.
