Why dont kids get latitudes pionts?

They receive credit for all of their cruises once they turn 18.

As each of my kids turned 18 they received a letter from Latitudes. They were surprised and thrilled to learn that they were now platinum members like Mon and Dad.

They do. Once my daughter turns 18, she will be automatically platinum :)

Not only will they get their points at 18, many if not most will not pay full fare. Many children will be cruising at reduced 3rd or 4th passenger rates, sharing their parents' cabin...sometimes there are even promotions where 3rd and 4th passengers sail for free.

For proof, I take a picture of their keycard and save it so that if I ever need proof they sailed, it has their name and sailing date on it.

My son has always had a latitudes number, even when he was younger than 18.
