Ask your current TA to match the price before you cancel. Also, check prices on your cruise daily. Sometimes there are price drops and you can be refared if before final payment. That better price you see from another TA may because there has been a price drop. EM

To find out what other cabins are available, you can go to the Celebrity website and do a fake booking for your cruise date, it will show what is available.

 

But first, call your Travel Agent (TA) and ask her to match the price you found. If she can't/won't, then cancel and rebook with another TA- but I bet your original TA will do it.

If your curent TA will not/ can not match the price - do not cancel and lose your cabin(s). If your current TA cannot match the price they may be able to give you cabin credits to make it equal to the lower price. Don't fall for that coupon booklet though- it's all 2 for one's and not worth the cash value they put on it.

 

If that does not work out: Find the TA that has the lowest price and ask to switch the reservation over to them. The new TA will email you/fax you a paper that you sign and send back to them allowing them to take over your reservation.

 

This way you keep your cabin and get the better price too.
