Yes, but wait 5 or 6 weeks and they'll look great again. Minneapolis just hopes their roses will be out for the first time by then!

If we get the freeze that is predicted for tonight, all the flowers I spent 4 days planting will be gone.

We are not used to these low temperatures at this time of the year.

This Memorial Day weekend, I visited our local Japanese gardens for some peaceful walking around and photography:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Was playing around with a newer lens on my NEX-5N - a Voigtlander Nokton 35mm F1.4. It's a nice sharp lens with a nice character and good contrast and color...and just fun, being a manual rangefinder-style lens!
