Switching Room question

May be a dumb question but if their is a room currently available in the same category for cheaper that the one I am already confirmed in but is closer to another room in our party. Will carnival possibly let us switch rooms. Not asking for the lower price just want to see if we can get closer. Not that big a deal.

Ive done it several times. No cost to change cabins within the same category.

 

ive even called the toll free number to do it as both times it was a sunday and my PVP was off. np

call them, the only restrictions I have seen are to downgrade under Early Saver, but you can't make room changes on line, it has to be over the phone.

My parents just switched roons with no problem. My PVP handled it for them.
