Cabin 1098 on the Brilliance question

Recommended Posts

I haven't stayed in that cabin, but I've walked through it and had a good look (on disembarkation day, after the occupants had departed the ship). The obstruction is the hull of the ship, which covers part of the balcony. But the good news is that the balcony is larger than that of a standard JS, and the hull gives some shade on a hot sunny day (or protects you from rain). If I couldn't get 1100 or 1602, that cabin or 1598 on the starboard side would be my next choice.:)

We have stayed there....the obstruction is a window washing platform and ladder that is ABOVE your head. You will see it, but it truly obstructs nothing. The ladder is totally see-thru..... The balcony is larger than the other JS's on the side. No worries...there is nothing wrong with that cabin!!!

The only downside is the extremely long walk to the end of the hall....
