Dining Options-Carnival Breeze

We've signed up for flex dining, which we've never done, but we're hearing that you may have to wait for a table which could take up to an hour at peak times. Does anyone have any info. on this? We're cruising March 29-April 6 to Southern Caribbean.

Done flex dining many times. Longest wait was 20 minutes

We did anytime dining on the Breeze last August but Mediterranean not Caribbean. We aimed for about 6.30pm each night and were always seated straight away. Any later than that and you may have a short wait.

On the Breeze in May as soon as we had worked to the front of the line we were seated within 30 seconds. We ate at various times during the week. The worst Any Time Dining was on the Legend last year. The line was from the entrance to the dining room thru the lounge and all the way to the casino. I thought I was going to scream. I was sure they were giving away free cruises or something. It was just horrible.

We use the anytime system on most cruises and have found that the time you pick to eat is what makes the difference. After 7PM there is rarely a wait. Every ship is a little different and you will soon know what works best for you.

My DH & I always do your time dining. We have only had to wait on elegant night. Like the other posters have said, any wait time is typically dependent upon what time you eat. Generally we never end up waiting more than a few minutes. We enjoy the flexibility of not having to eat at a set time each night & also being able to get a table for 2 each time.
