Does anyone know (or can anyone find out) who is on Mariner right now?

 

All I have been able to deduce is that Jimmy Rhodes is on his break. Don't know when his break started, when it ends, or if he is scheduled to go back to Mariner or to another ship.

 

Is anyone in contact with Jimmy on social media or such, and can find out when/where Jimmy's next contract begins, and who came onboard Mariner when he left for his break?

Richard should be back on Freedom for one more contract mid-to-late February until mid-to-late June (need exact dates) before heading over to prepare for Quantum, then to prepare for Anthem, then to prepare for Oasis III.

Thanks. I'm on a b2b on Grandeur in December, as well as sailing it frequently at other times during the year. I keep an eye out more for the cd on that ship than the others.

 

Hopefully, someone on the next few sailings can ask around and report back to us.

 

Or, maybe someone can email the concierge or contact Ricky Matthews via social media?

 

(It could be possible, although unlikely, that Jimmy will only be on Oasis for a few weeks, to bridge a small gap between two CDs. Perhaps Dave is leaving earlier than planned, or the next CD is going to be late?? Then, he could head straight over to Grandeur)

I preferred Ken over Allan in some respect. Ken was more visible to the public on my last cruise than Allan and made an effort to speak to people. Don't get me wrong, Allan is great at what he does, and was, in my experience, a little predictable.

Oh boy...he is my least favorite CD. Talks too fast, laughs at his own jokes which aren't funny, and runs a disorganized and quite weak activities team. We were on a "cold weather" cruise, and activities were really awful under his leadership. We went on the same ship a few months later with a different CD, and the same activities were so much more fun, and there were more activities scheduled. The difference was striking!

 

There is a lot of info available about him on these boards, and even on this thread if you read back a few pages or do a search. RCI must have a lot of confidence in him to make him the regular CD of Quantum. I am disappointed, though, because Quantum sails from my homeport and I expect to cruise on Quantum often, however I will purposefully schedule my cruises to avoid Jimmy Rhodes, since activities and entertainment are an important part of the cruising experience for us.
