PunkiC Posted July 18, 2013 #26 Share Posted July 18, 2013 We are planning on bringing our own ukuleles because the classes are so much in demand. What kind should we buy?

Elua Posted July 19, 2013 Author #29 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Does anybody know if they use soprano or alto ukuleles? Aloha Kakou, In the classes, we use soprano ukuleles. The reason for this has more to do with storage then anything. If it was up to me and possible, I would have concerts for the class. I prefer beginners to use a concert as it is a little more comfortable size wise and doesn't "mash" your fingers as much as a soprano might. That being said, I always tell people to go and try some if possible and see which one feels better to you. I'm sure the fine folks at CC would not love it if I specifically suggested one brand over another, but you can certainly email me at eluamusic@aol.com and I can tell you which one I suggest highly. Elua Posted July 19, 2013 Author #31 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Will you be on the Golden next April? Karen Aloha Karen, No we will not. The Golden will not be doing the Hawaiian run any more, and the "full time" ship will be the Star. Our bosses at Princess have told us that we are scheduled to go to the Star Princess for the 2013-14 season. That will go from early October 2013-early May 2014.
