Italy52 Posted June 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2013 I am hoping that someone here can help me out with my question that I am asking on behalf of my daughter. My daughter's family and us are taking the FOS in a couple of weeks and she is seeking information on a particular ship-sponsored excursion: Stingray City Barrier Reef Snorkel GC88. Her particular question is what mode of transportation was used to get to the boat? Did everyone board a van to go to the ship? Thank you in advance for your kind replies, I appreciate it very much. Budget Queen Posted June 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2013 They use buses. The ship tours come a higher price and this particular tour, looks to only have two stops? Three are available, which is all I consider when there. The Reef can be a rough swim with currents and usually a distance to swim as the boats can not anchor at the reef. If you wear a vest/floater, it does cause drag. Coral Gardens- which is a generic location is a nice added stop, and more loaded with fish compared to the reef. The reef does have eels however. Just some additional information.
