Any fav's with new food menu this year?

I kept wondering what savory bites were, too. I just called them "those little rolls". I'm relieved they didn't take them away with the Vidalia Onion Tarts.

I agree. I also miss the Scallop Risotto.

I really enjoyed the new menu and of course ate way too much but the really stand out dishes for me were

 

Lamb Shanks

Artichoke Crepe

Grand Mariner Souffle

Lemon Meringue Pie

Can anyone comment on what their favorite dishes from the dining room, buffet, promenade or room service are that they are enjoying now that RCI has changed their menu. Thanks.:)

I like that they have BBB Crème Brulee available every day ! Yum Yum

 

And the Chicken Sliders in the MDR Brasserie 30 lunchtime menu are great.

They're golf-ball sized, dark, triangular rolls. The savory bites also can vary from night to night. On Jewel one night they had sun-dried tomatoes, one night they had olives, the next night they had onion, etc. But on Independence they were always the standard poppy seed version.

 

Losing Savoury Bites would probably make me quit cruising. Of course, I thought the same thing about Vidalia Onion Tarts.

I enjoy the Beef Sliders w/Steak Fries. They're on the menu every night. You can even order them as an appetizer.

:DI tried them and like them so much,had them as an appetizer.:)Lots of nights, I ordered multiple items to keep from starving. The 1st night waiter was slow then very slow next night, super slow 3rd night, and finally ultra slow last night.[hint when asking for item as starter mention it to waiter].

Carnival has been quite a let down and we were not impressed with Holland. I'm glad this cruisleline is trying some new things, although it sad to see some of favorites disappear.
