Fairmont-Waterfront, Vancouver

Walkable? How does this hotel compare to the Pan Pacific?

This is google street view of the Fairmont waterfront, do a 180 and you're looking at a cruise ship berth. The total walk outdoors would be well under 100m

The Pan Pacific forms part of Canada Place and the ships tie up on the 3 sides of it. Both the Pan Pacific and the Fairmont Waterfront will transfer your luggage to the pier....it doesn't come much easier.

Considering the Fairmont Waterfront after the cruise. I know that I can go from collecting my luggage at Canada Place right to Pan Pacific by underground access. Is underground access available from Canada Place to the Fairmont?

You can use the same elevator that takes you up to the Pan Pacific to get to the street level to make the 30 second walk to the Fairmont. I know that there is an "undergrond" way to the Fairmont but I've never used it. Give the bell Stand at the Fairmont a call and they will tell you everything you need. I recommend the Fairmont hands down over the Pan.

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.

The Pan Pacific is my favorite hotel in Vancouver... so it gets my vote.

However the Fairmont Waterfront is just accross the street and all Fairmont hotels are wonderful...

No need for a transfer from either hotel to the cruise ship terminal as you are THERE...
