stevea36 Posted June 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2013 and the answer is NOT 1.... is it worth an additonal $100 pp to be in one of the newer, A1 cabins on summit? It looks like the A1's are the same size and layout as the A2 cabins, but they are on the sky deck. Thanks for any input... Steve
baldercash Posted June 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2013 We are booked in A1's and they are on the 11th deck on Millennium. Top deck new cabins installed on the re-fit cost more.
miched Posted June 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2013 Only if you can get a cabin on the aft. We have sailed in both and for us it was rather inconvenient being on deck 11. Some may like that the balconies are more open but it was always too windy on deck 11 to enjoy sitting out there. There is about a 2 ft overhang above the balcony. Not much protection from the elements. As for being new they are new but designed like the old and the cabins are the same size. .
baldercash Posted June 30, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 30, 2013 We are on the aft 35 day Honolulu to Singapore this November. We thought we would enjoy the view and all those sea days.
