Savings Certifiates/D-Plus discount ?

I see that the new Savings Certificates have been posted to the RC website.

Do these discounts work along with Diamond Plus Balcony discounts, or can you only use one discount. I also have a future cruise certificate.

You can only use one discount. Either the D+ or the savings certificate. The FCC can be used with either.

Why do they even put out certificates listing a balcony or suite discount? The C&A discount is more, what's the point?

They are sometimes better than the C&A balcony discounts for levels below diamond.

The balcony/suite discount is the same as the discount for OV staterooms, so I think they just take the easy way out and display one version of the coupon. I suppose they could program the website to take note of the C&A level and remove the nomenclature for those categories for which the balcony discount is more than the savings certificate. However, I doubt they want to give their IT staff any more tasks.;)
