landrusiek Posted July 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2013 So I have booked my first Celebrity cruise. Yay! I am very excited. I am sailing on the Summit. This will be my first on Celebrity but not my first cruise. I have some questions... - Can anyone tell me about the a la carte sushi? Is it good? Can you special order it (ie. brown rice instead of white or rice paper instead of rice?) Is the price reasonable/worth it for the quality? - Does anyone have recent photos of the fitness centre? - Does anyone know if the Aqua Spa Cafe has plain GREEK yogurt? I looked at the menu and all I saw was a lot of "non-fat" stuff . I am sure I will think of more questions but I think that's all I have for now... Thanks in advance! WestLakeGirl Posted July 5, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2013 So far there are no reports of anyone having seen Greek yogurt on any Celebrity ship aFAIK there is no charge for the afternoon sushi, up at the buffet. What menu did you see a la carte sushi on?

landrusiek Posted July 5, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted July 5, 2013 That's fantastic! I thought I saw somewhere that it was a la carte. Is it just rolls? Is there nigiri and sashimi?

Hi, I can't remember everything they serve. It is up at the buffet and it is usually between 5-9 (if memory serves). I know over the years I have read alot of postings from folks who are "Sushi Connessiours" and they don't like it. I have always enjoyed it as a snack though.:) Just like anything in the food category.....some folks like it, some folks don't.
royalcruz Posted July 5, 2013 #7 Share Posted July 5, 2013 There are lots of maki rolls, served buffet style. I don't recall seeing sashimi. Bear in mind that just about all of the protein on the ships has been previously frozen....it's not like they are fishing out the back of the ship.:)
