I just posted a link in the Alaska board to an extensive set of tests on binoculars done by the Cornell Ornithology Lab including a rating of the ZenRays and of other binoculars in the same price range. Check it our.

Zen-Rays are really highly regarded by many and deserve their reputation.

 

They also have a great warranty as well, so this should give you peace of mind.

 

They are not regarded as that great by the Cornell Lab for Ornithology

They are not even among the recommended binoculars in their price group. They also have a very low rating for people who were eyeglasses. In the less than $200 group of binoculars, 5 of the 6 recommended binoculars had better ratings than the ZenRays which are in the $200 -m $400 group.
