Very Early EZAir flight from Venice

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has done this with EZair and princess transfers? After reading some helpful Venice threads, I am nervous about how early our flights are.

We are on the Ruby in August and our flight is at 6:30am, disembarking and getting to the airport that early. Does anyone have experience with this that they can share?

Thanks!

You will be docked in Venice overnight and can come and go as you please during that time. Since you probably started in Rome there won't be any customs or immigration at the port. Its only about a 20 minute transfer to the airport. That does seem uncomfortably early but you should not have any problems getting off the ship.

You do have the Princess transfer which will have your luggage in the terminal very early.

Caris,

Please report how this worked for you when you return. We are doing a Barcelona to Venice next year and looking at a possible 7:30 AM flight. We are worried about that and considering staying overnight near the airport so we can make the flight. I would appreciate hearing your experience.

We had friends take a 6 am flight out of Venice last November. They had a 4:30 departure from the ship, no trouble at all other than a lack of sleep from staying up too late the night before. Princess is very accustomed to handling these early departures and that time of the morning you are talking 20 minutes max in a taxi, probably less.
