Specialty Dining - How far in advance can I reserve

Does anyone know how far in advance of a cruise does reservations open? When I try to make reservations it says: There are currently no Specialty Restaurants and Dining Experiences options for your sailing.

It's not a fixed amount of time before the cruise. Usually by 60 to 90 days.

Sometimes appears as Bob says no fixed time. May depend on the sailing, for our next one on Splendour out of Venice, MTD and speciality reservations were open 123 days before sailing (we're down to 98 days now!).

Keep checking regularly - as others have said, it seems to be quite random. I have just made reservations for 27 November and we are 138 days out. I was surprised to see them open when I checked the other day.

We made reservations last week for our December holiday cruise. Very surprised that reservations were open so early. Check often.

Thank you all! I just wonder why there isn't a standard time as to when reservations will open for example: Stating on your reservation that 'reservations will open for your sailing on September 15, 2013' or 150 days prior to sale. When I log in it does tell me the last date that reservations can be made online.
