San Juan - distance from port to airport

How far is the cruise port from the airport in San Juan?? We can get a flight at 10:40am - can we get from the ship to the airport in time??

They aren't far, but do remember that there is an extra security line to go through at that airport -- actually your luggage goes through, not you. It's an agricultural inspection station. It does add a bit of time to your calculations. What time does the airline say you should be at the airport?

It is not a long trip. But, that is cutting it pretty close. On the day that cruise ships arrive back in port it gets very busy.

10 min can ride, not ar. But a lot can go wrong by 10:40. It could be close. Talk to staff on board and see if you can be in first group off ship.

Don't look at the time your plane takes off. Look at the time you need to be at the AP -- usually 1.5 hours before take off. Do you really think you can get to the AP by 9, assuming a 20 minute ride?

Yes, it's possible but SJU can be a very crowded AP especially when several cruise ships are in port.
