Which night is better to play slots on Carnival Dream?

Bottom line - don't play slots. If you know how to correctly play blackjack or craps, you can put the odds in your favor.

There are actually a couple of older slot machines that can have odds favorable to the player, depending on circumstances.:)

Anyone that plays the slots just with the idea of 'winning' might as well just throw it overboard! Yeah! I play! I save rolled change thruout the break inbetween cruises! That's my play money! Already did the souv. thing, and I have fun playing! BUT..I don't play with the idea of HITTING THE BIG ONE! it's just fun to me and something to do inbetween empty time slots! hahaha....If you NEED the money! STAY OUT!!!

Slot machines have a pre-determined number of winning combos and the winning combos are selected by the RNG. Random Number Generator. You will win on any machine as long as you select the right bet and hit that spin at the same precise moment the RNG brings up that combo. It NEVER stops generating combos, even if no one is playing. I don't care if you play today, tomorrow or next Wednesday. I don't care if that little old lady hits on the first spin when you get up after 10 hours. NONE of it matters. Well, you might be unhappy that she hit but it is her win and what you did before she sat down has no bearing on her winning. Unless of course it is a progressive and then you helped to build up her JP but SHE won by hitting that button at that moment.

There is no gambling..sorry...gaming company in the world that is non-profit. Ultimately, you lose. Can they determine their percentage of take...of course ...by using the slots they want and by positioning the 'higher payouts' right where you walk by and lure you into the the ones with lower percentage payouts. Think of the grocery store where the necessities are at the back and the impulse is near the front. None of it is by accident. It is all by design. But do not think they are walking around 'tightening' machines. They don't need to. You might get lucky and walk away that time but you will return because you 'won.' They already know how to get your money. It is just a matter of letting you think you won. At least for a little while. You will always come back for more and they still make a profit every year.

You have to play slots for the fun of it, you're rarely going to win. I had heard that about the slots being looser the first night, but I've never found that to be true. Last cruise, everyone in my group was going to see whatever entertainment was on. I didn't want to go so I walked in the casino with $10 and just decided to see how long it would last. After about an hour, I had winnings of $140, so called it quits and cashed out! That was entertainment to me!! I have a set amount to gamble on each cruise - when that's gone, that's all!
