A waterpark with 5 large waterslides (no tube slides, all body slides): one like the Twister, one like the Drainpipe, one that's like a freefall that ends on the deck 5 lanai (with viewing windows as it cuts through the ship), a figure-8 slide like on Conquest/Triumph class, and one like the 2 high-speed slides on Sunshine. And I guess we can throw in a 6th slide that's a tube slide, but only if it's a water coaster that goes all around the ship. Keep the slides open until 8:00-10:00. I'm all set for the week.

 

A laser tag area that's open for everyone, not just kids.

3 pools with one of them able to be heated and covered.

I love the idea of a rollerblading track.

Plus, 4-5 venues that will have live bands playing (yeah, I know I'm living in a fantasy world with that one).

How about. - bowling alley; large open promenade like Royal with a coffee shop that has free coffee; adult only hot tubs and flex dining.

 

I believe the "Royal Promenade" is a trade mark thing. I don't think

Any cruise line can just build something like that. That is the rumor

Why Quantum isn't going to have a "Royal Promenade"

Im the magic right now returning from the bahamas... They had a press conference showing the vista... It will have a waterfall and a new slide that will go out of the ship and it will be transparent its like if your going to the ocean... I wasnt there but a member of my group was they showed pictures of the ship...

Is it similar to the breeze (exterior wise) or is it a completely new design?

I would add a waterpark and Sports Square, but I would also have a retractable roofed pool. Stateroom bathrooms should be completely re-thoughtout and modernized. The paint job should be kept up with, unlike the Glory. The music by the pool should be loud, but not blow-your-eardrums-out loud. More oceanview staterooms. More deck chairs. Lava cakes on lido? :P

We were on the Carnival Magic this past week... On Saturday morning they had a conference in the spotlight lounge where they showed the ship and the amenities that it will have... If you read my previous messages you would know where one of my members was.....

I read your message, just did not understand it. Did not realize they held "press conferences" at sea. Why would they do that?

When they announced the name of the new ship it was done in the Carnival Breeze spotlight lounge too....

I think these things would be nice:

*The new coke machine where you can get 100's of different flavors. Add an RFID (or similar) chip to the cups so that you can walk up to it and fill it up yourself if you have the bottomless bubbles package. I think RCCL is doing this on some of their ships.

 

*Keurig's and k-cup selections in every room (k-cups could be free or additional cost). I would certainly pay a reasonable amount to have my favorite coffee, in the room!!

 

*Love the Lazy River idea!

 

*More choices on the room service menus (like steaks and actual dinners) would be great if you just want to relax on the balcony with dinner.

 

*More connecting room options. We usually travel as a family and if we had three cabins in a row that could all connect, that would be great!

no chairs at all so there wouldn`t be any hogs

42 Buffets so there would be no lines

separate dining rooms...1 for casual and 1 for hats...wife beater tee shirts

Add a real NY pizza parlor

Add a Real Chicago Pizza parlor

bring back the FCC

Free Booze in a pay one price cruise fare

make the ship enclosed in a plastic bubble made of recycled water bottles so weather would never be an issue

add a KFC...Mcdonalds...Chinese take out...

two casinos...one smoking one non smoking

Half the ship kids running rampant unsupervised and swim diapers in pool

the other half adults only

 

I think that should do it...

lmao ....now that's a ship I would go on
