NCL Epic Marseille Departures nolonger in 2014?

Is NCL no longer sailing Epic out of Marseille in 2014 ? I see it does this Sept , but cannot find the same 7 nighter offered this year for next year-- only departing Barcelona .

Maybe thats why RCI Liberty of the Seas can charge $1670 now for their 7 night cruise out of Marseille for 2014 ?:mad:

Barcelona or Rome are the options for next year.

 

I actually think next years itinerary is a step up from this year.

 

Everywhere I read, people were complaining about Marseille as a port and next year it is replaced by Cannes which opens up a side trip to Monaco.

Cannes was added as a port to replace Marseille but it is not an embarkation/debarkation port. Sorry for the confusion.

 

You can only Embark/Debark from Barcelona or Rome

 

I know you liked taking the train from Paris to Marseille and I would have done the same thing but I am instead taking an overnight, sleeper train from Paris to Barcelona

I believe Cannes was added to replace Monaco. Cannes is a tender port.

Marseille is not a great port to visit, unless you leave and visit Avignon or Arles.

 

When we did the Epic you could start your cruise in Barcelona or Rome.
