Need help!!

NCL was dropped prices. Balcony on the Jewel on deck 8 forward. Is this good one a or should I stay with my inside on deck 10? Cost would be $30pp.

 

They also have OB view on deck 8 midship for less than I paid for my inside.

 

Which one should I do if anything?

That is what I want but want to make sure it is a good one. We are sailing to Alaska and that would be perfect.

Any balcony is better than an Inside! :p

 

The Balconies on Deck 8 Forward are 'hull' balconies, metal enclosed around the opening... but, still a balcony!

Since you are well past final payment and a few days away from sailing, NCL may not do anything. You can ask and maybe get a small OBC. If your lucky they may move you up. Can't hurt to ask.

Grab it quick before it's gone! If it's a hull balcony, still better than an inside or an ocean view. You could ask if there are other balconies available. A non hull might cost you a bit more.

I hope you took the balcony. Having your own space when viewing in Alaska is really nice :D

Balcony Cabins are the way to go. Even if it's obstructed (not my choice) is better since you can at least be outside, and that's a wonderful thing! ;) Enjoy your cruise.

Alaska is one of the places where a balcony really comes in handy......

 

A hull balcony is more protected from wind....it is a lot better than most people realize......

You'll appreciate the balcony - we sat on our balcony most of the day when we were in Glacier Bay and drank hot chocolate - it was the best!

If it is cool or rainy or windy, a hull balcony offers more shelter, so it can actually be an advantage. And it way better than and inside.

Balcony and we are on deck 9 in cabin 9070, starboard side.
