Ikea packing oblongs/squares...

Hi - I've seen packing cubes mentioned on here lots. Ikea (UK) do "Upptacka" which are £5 with a family card. It contains 4 extremely useful zipped bags which aren't cubes but have revolutionized our case packing this trip!

I use e cubes which are similar , they are great and just lift out into drawers or onto shelves- so much easier

We use ebags. Which are brill. As you just pop them into the various drawers on vacation no need to unpack everything! A great asset when you travel loads!

Although not quite the same, one-gallon zip-lock bags can serve the same function, and have the added benefit of protecting your clothes if your bags get left in the rain.

I now use the Eagle Creek "Specter" packing cubes. They are super lightweight and don't add weight to your bag. I stuff them and when I unpack, just toss them on a shelf or in a drawer.

Let me first write this disclaimer: I love IKEA!

 

Yes, I have Eagle Creek packing cubes and I also have pink IKEA ones. If their only purpose was to keep TSA out of my personal belongings, I would be thrilled. They do help in other ways.

 

I also have collapsible boxes with zipper bottoms to keep my smaller items contained on the desk top and/or drawers.

 

I know, I pack way too many things for a cruise.
