Why Did Disney Drop Hobby Transfers?

kicker

Recommended Posts

We're doing a Disney Wonder cruise Oct 19. Coming from Central New York State, we would've preferred flying into Houston's Hobby Airport rather than Bush International (same rates but we prefer the airlines that fly to Hobby rather than those that fly into Bush).

Does anyone know why the transfers ended? We booked Disney transfers from Bush, plus a hotel in Galveston through Disney (also seems odd they offer only one hotel choice); the Disney rep I spoke to wasn't aware there were no Hobby transfers.

So, anyone know the reason? My guess would be a dispute between Hobby and Disney, but maybe someone here knows the real story?

I wish I knew. I'm in the same boat. My preferred airlines don't fly to Bush. Unfortunately, we will have to fly in day of, so I would have preferred cruise line transfers (for ease of mind reasons). I'm looking at booking a private sedan for the one way transfer.
