? from a Celebrity cruiser re: perks

Recommended Posts

Possible first time RC cruiser here - we've only sailed Celebrity before but thought we might want to try Oasis and see what the fuss is all about.

We are elite on Celebrity and understand we can transfer that status and receive Diamond Plus. Is that correct?

What are the current "perks", if any, that we might expect. We would likely sail in a junior suite.

Thanks!!

Elite on Celebrity translates to Diamond on Royal.

Here are the perks. Look in the Diamond column:

Also, if you are booking a balcony stateroom, be sure to request the balcony discount from whoever booked your cruise.

The perks are on RCI's website. The biggest would be a discount for booking balconies and suites as well as the 5:00pm to 8:30pm nightly event in the diamond lounge which has free basic cocktails, house wine and select beers as well as appetizers (the alcohol selection is actually slightly better than what Celebrity offers during the Elite cocktail event). Laundry and internet perks are not nearly as good on RCI versus X though. See the website for the additional perks, but the one's I mentioned are the biggest/most valuable.

Thank you, all three of you ;)

It's about what I thought. Just wanted to check on the latest. However I wasn't aware of a discount on the room.

Just be aware that the discount is not automatic, you must request it.

Also, you can call Royal's Crown & Anchor Society now and have them give you a C&A number. Have your Captain's Club number handy and call 800-526-9723.
