Sopwith Posted August 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 13, 2013 I know, it's bad grammar, but... We had booked the Pacific Princess with stops in Isreal and Egypt, but cancelled because of the uncertainty about Egypt. I assume the Egypt calls have been canceled recently, but I'm curious to know where they went instead. We still hope to go in the next 2 or 3 years, and it would be helpful to know what Princess does if they have to divert.

paul929207 Posted August 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 13, 2013 When was your cruise? We are on the Ocean Princess and schedule to be in Egypt in late September. No change to the schedule yet.
CraigRDR1 Posted August 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 13, 2013 In 2011 we were scheduled to stop in Egypt, but then the initial protests began ( this was March/April). Princess canceled the Egypt ports and replaced them with 2 days in Istanbul Turkey, but by the time the cruise date arrived the country had settled down and the stops in Egypt were restored. So, you never know how it's going to play out.
