Need a hotel near Miami port

Another vote for the Intercontinental. It's a classy hotel, the staff are great, and you can't beat the location if you're only staying one night before your cruise.

We stayed at La quinta Airport East in Jan. Needed a park n' cruise . It worked well for us..got a 10 am shuttle to the port, the room was very nice and breakfast was ok altho we were there early and later when we went back for a coffee it was packed!!

We paid $90 for our room...Going out of POM again in Jan. 2014 and have booked La quinta again altho it was $140 this time. The Red Roof Inn was near La quinta and I noticed that it is at $90 right now..

It is $229.89 for the date I am looking for on LMT.

Keep the Springhill Suites Downtown Miami in mind as well. They offer a free airport shuttle as well as a complimentry shuttle to Bayside and a radius around the hotel. In addition, they offer a complimentry breakfast and a cruise pkg that includes a shuttle to the port. The port is less than 3 miles from the hotel, so a quick trip.
