luvscruising2007 Posted August 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2013 I have terrible feet. I develop callouses on the bottom of my feet and have to have them removed periodically. (I know TMI). Most of the time it is no problem. However, on a cruise, I enjoy dressing up and heels cause pain on the bottom of my feet. So, here is the question. Has anybody had success with in-soles in sandals or peep top shoes? The last time I tried the in-soles slid down the the shoe and started to come out of the shoe. As DD would say, epic fail. Any suggestions are appreciated.
cb at sea Posted August 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2013 There are Dr. Scholl pads that "stick" to the inside of the shoe....not with glue, but just because of the material it's made of.....They have some "ball of the foot" pads that don't show in sandal style shoes. Rare Scrapnana Posted August 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2013 Dr. Scholl's has an array of foot products that are made for "open" shoes. I have had no problem with any of them moving around. They are not real expensive and have a money back guarantee if you don't like them (just be sure to save your store receipt and the UPC code off the original package). cocod08 Posted August 25, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2013 I used to have this problem too I used to put a piece of moleskin directly on the spot as a cushion that helped a lot.
luvscruising2007 Posted August 25, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted August 25, 2013 I think the insoles that moved on me were Dr. Scholl's but they may have been Wal-mart brand. I will look at them. I have thought about mole skin. Do you use it with in-soles or by itself?
cocod08 Posted August 25, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 25, 2013 I would usually wear the moleskin alone that seemed to be enough to make me comfortable but maybe bring some insoles too just in case
