Arizonasunshine Posted August 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2013 We are booked on the June 14 Norway cruise. The scheduled arrival time in Copenhagen is 7:00 AM. I have a flight booked with SAS leaving Copenhagen at 10:25. Do you think that this is enough time?

tgg Posted August 29, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2013 To give yourself as much time as possible, you might want to do a walk-off. Instead of leaving your luggage outside your cabin the night before you arrive, keep it with you and plan to be the first people off the ship in the morning. You will walk off the ship with all your luggage and avoid having to find and claim your bags. You won't have to wait in a taxi line either, since you'll be there first. Sometimes a few extra minutes can be the difference between making the flight and missing it.

SkystheLimit Posted August 29, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 29, 2013 One word of caution. We were on an Oceania cruise last year that disembarked in CPH. Very few taxis were waiting. It took us about 30 minutes to get a taxi and then the ride to airport. So, make sure you are first off or make arrangements ahead of time for a limo service. tgg Posted August 30, 2013 #8 Share Posted August 30, 2013 I found this today on the Cruise Critic UK site. http://www.cruisecritic.co.uk/news/news.cfm?ID=5504 When the ship is late arriving and people miss early flights, the cruise line may help - or not. This certainly doesn't sound like customer service from a supposedly five or six-star cruise line.:(

This certainly doesn't sound like customer service from a supposedly five or six-star cruise line.:( There is a current post on the Regent board by a passenger affected by this late arrival. From what the passenger wrote, if you didn't book your air with Regent you were pretty much on your own. Not what you would expect from a luxury cruise line. I learned long ago not to expect too much help from cruise lines or airlines when schedules change. If you try to get their help, you will find yourself at the end of a very long line of angry customers.
