HappyHygienist Posted September 1, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2013 We have anytime dining on the Sensation. Are we allowed to ask for a table for 2? TIA. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
nwcruiselover Posted September 1, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2013 Yes, definitely it's OK to ask for a table for 2, and with anytime dining you'll mostly likely get one!

benefactr Posted September 1, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 1, 2013 Had ATD dining on the conquest and always got a table for two without asking. Alot of the tables are still in close proximity to other two tops so still not as private as you might like. Your ship might be different.
Amanda86 Posted September 1, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2013 Another question regarding this topic.... Can you email MD and request table for 2 by window for anytime dinning. Or is it best to request each night? When do they sing during dinner? Never seen it, always go early for quick seating. We are going to be on Magic in 2 weeks. Any one know where any where dinning is held? Sorry for hijacking thread.
Rare mexicobob Posted September 1, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 1, 2013 Had ATD dining on the conquest and always got a table for two without asking. Alot of the tables are still in close proximity to other two tops so still not as private as you might like. Your ship might be different. We were also on The Conquest and were always given a table for two without asking. Had to wait a few minutes on a couple of busy nights but usually went right in. Some of the tables were close to the point you were sitting at the same table with other people. Some were not. All of the people we sat with were very nice people and we really enjoyed their company. Closed the dining room down with some of them. You can always decline the table they suggest, and people do this and are seated elsewhere.

Rosefloater Posted September 1, 2013 #10 Share Posted September 1, 2013 Can you email MD and request table for 2 by window for anytime dinning. Or is it best to request each night? When do they sing during dinner? Never seen it, always go early for quick seating. No need to email Maitre d' to request window table for ATD. When you get to the hostess stand, ask then. They sing about 7:15 and 9:30 (1 hour 15 minutes after start of service).
Rudyard Posted September 1, 2013 #11 Share Posted September 1, 2013 We never had a problem getting a table for two with ATD. Longest wait in the three nights we ate in the MDR was about five minutes. AS someone else pointed out, the tables are very close together with just enough room for people to pass between them.
