Typical weather to expect for Dec in Paris

Greetings, we are on Viking Spirit cruise, Dec 22 departure, and wondering what to expect weather wise? Thinking wet and cold, correct? :)

Wet and cold yes, possibly some snow. But beautiful lights and decorations for Christmas. The department stores are all beautifully decorated. Worth a visit.

We spent Thanksgiving in Paris last year so we caught the holiday decorations & the Champs Elysees Christmas Market. Wasn't as cold & wet as we had planned for it to be (we spent Thanksgiving in Amsterdam a couple years ago and it was MUCH colder & snowed the entire time) So yes, I imagine - just that much cooler & wetter (40s probably). We LOVE to visit Europe that time of year - cheap flights out of the US and very little tourist traffic:D

One of the coldest December's we've ever spent was in Paris as was one of the most delightful fall-like sunny ones. It's all a matter of luck!

We do as well, and have experienced a wide range of temps and weather conditions. We find it a wonderful time for a trip to Europe.
