Need help finding the right app for writing a travel blog including pictures I will take with myIphone.

I do not want to use FB, but I do have a goggle+ account.

I have looked at Word Press, too difficult for me, and have an Tumblr account but have never posted.

Any suggestions?

I'm using blogspot to write mine on my iPad. I will be typing up my entries in Pages then copying and pasting onto blogspot. I've been setting it up using a combination of my laptop and iPad so I can get used to the process on both. If you decide to use blogspot, I will post the directions for putting pictures from your iPad on it.

Thanks for all your feedback.

Scrapnana, could you give the directions for the posting the pictures from my ipad or Iphone?

Ausmo,

I tried the travelpod.com on my last cruise.

I setit up on my laptop and had no problem.

but when I went to post and upload pictures on my ipad while on the ship, I had all kind of problems figuring how to do it. NOthing owrked. Dont; know if it was the wifi that would disappear just when I was on line and ready to post and it would disappear.

I did like some of its features .

I did like some of its features .

1) Tap on the picture on your iPad that you wish to post

2) Touch the corner of the picture until "Copy" appears

3) Tap "Copy"

4) Go to Blogspot and if you have not chosen "New Post" do that now

5) Tap in the writing box until the keyboard appears

6) Touch the corner of the box until "Paste" appears

7) Tap the "Paste" and your picture will appear

I've found that the Large size is the biggest you can post without running off the sides of your blog.

Don't forget to tap "Save" and "Publish" when you are finished.

Scrapnana,

thanks so much for the instructions

i will be using blogspot when I go to DC later this month.

Then when I go on my 12 day cruise out of Istnbul in late Oct, I will be more familar with it and have a place to blog this trip of a lifetime.
