They sure are. Anything $10 or less. But the DOD in fancy glass not inc. Just order in plain glass. Cheers

Loads of people have reported ordering them, in reviews and such. No specialty coffees, drinks over $10.00, or souvenir glasses.

I did the cheers program and yes you can get frozen drinks but they put DOD in a regular glass, unless you want to pay extra for the souvenir glass. We have enough souvineer glasses.

No but I have read the rules enough times in the last year. Any alcoholic drink 10.00 or less is included.

I have done so and you can order any drink under $10 frozen or not. It was well worth it for me and my wife.

The program talks about "certain" non-alcoholic frozen drinks not being counted along with soda toward your 15 drink limit. But I have had all the full alcohol frozen drinks and all were under the $10 limit.

this is what i'm reading and why i'm asking. according to my email it says included "sodas and non-alcohol frozen cocktails" included.

It's saying other THAN which means those are included but like a red bull isn't or a milkshake or a mocha cafe latte

I found as long as you added a alcohol shot to it, red bull or rockstar was included.

They mean that in addition to alcoholic drinks, you can also get the virgin frozen drinks...a nice perk for those who are don't want much alcohol but still want something special to drink. They have several varieties of non-alcoholic frozen drinks available.

I just got home, had CHEERS! And drank more than enough frozen drinks- no problem!! Enjoy!!

Maybe not to you, but it is to others. We're definitely getting it in February. My OBC pretty much pays for it. I intend to taste every drink that I've always wanted to, but didn't want to pay and not like. :)

How much extra is the cruise compared to Carnival? What I'm interested in is the bottom dollar. So far Carnival beats all others even when you factor in gratuities and cheers.

I've looked at Celebrity cruises a number of times and have always found them to be overpriced. You don't get anything for free, it's being paid for somewhere in your bill.

Can't give an answer to that, because it all depends on the cruise.

Itinerary, amount of days, cabin selection, etc.

Carnival is a cheaper line where as Celebrity is more upscale.

You can find good deals with Celebrity that are less than Carnival, just have to look.

 

The drink package cost has no reflection on the price of the cruise...;)

This is exactly right. Any drink with alcohol in it whether frozen or not if under $10 menu price (not including the tip) is included and counted toward your 15 drink limit.Soda's and frozen virgin drinks are free with the program but are not counted toward your 15 drink limit.

I just did a quick mock booking on Celebrity for a 7 night Caribbean leaving within a day of my upcoming Sunshine cruise. The cost of the Celebrity cruise for same cabin type (aft balcony) is $900 more than the Sunshine. Even adding the cost of Cheers I still come out $500 ahead (only me in the cabin over 21). Plus I'm saving a ton of money driving to NOLA instead of having to book 3 round trips to FL.
