The Breakaway Haven Rocked!

Christmas in September!!!

Thanks sooo much!

Cant wait to see more!

When did you see your Butler for the first time once you boarded?

I saw him at the lift as we embarked, but I did not know he was our butler until later. We ate at the suite restaurant, but I took off to go and see the room prior to the appetizers. He found me lost trying to get out of the Haven, and walked me all the way to my floor on deck 9 aft. He still did not tell me that he was our butler. He showed the room quickly, then gave me the best route to return to the haven. He then escorted me back to our table.

After the drill we went back to our cabin we saw him there and he said, "Hello, I am Jose your Butler, and I am so pleased to have already assisted you Miss Cherie."

We also had Jose. How did you like him? I was unimpressed. He spoke to my husband on embarkation day, but we didn't see him again until Wednesday.

Looks like we may have Jose too. *sigh*. Anything, anything at all I can be optimistic about with him?

We loved having Jose for a Butler, and he is one of our favorites now! He responded to our requests quickly and accurately. He was not intrusive in the least while he refilled the coffee, cups, stem-ware and ice. Our pre-concierge requests were all granted and our fridge was fully stocked with our bar set-up mixers.

Nalagh, I may be wrong (it happens often) but did you have a big thread a few months back about a horrendous Haven experience and how you guys were really ticked off and wouldn't do it again?

If it was and you gave it another shot, good for you. Glad this one worked out. :D

Yes, there was a tread I wrote in May about our Haven experience on the Gem. That is why I thought this deserved a thread of it's own. ;)

NCL assured us that they would put safeguards in place to ensure tranquillity in the Haven, and they were true to their word!

Hi! Thank you again!

Will you be giving us more pictures and telling us everything about the Haven?

What you requested, if you were there at sailaway, dinners, lunches, breakfast in the Haven Restaurant? TELL EVERYTHING! :)

"The Breakaway Haven Rocked?" I think "Cherie Rocked"!

It was a pleasure sailing with you and your family. I hope we sail together again some day and can't wait to see more of your gorgeous pictures even though I visited you guys in there as your guest.

Will there be any pictures of your mom at dinner telling everyone "Don't Eat! Don't Eat!" until she got to take a pictures of everyone's food? :p

I will start with a full pictorial review in the morning. I just want you all to know that this was by far the best Haven experience ever, and I feel NCL kept true to their word! :D

More to come, but this NEEDED it's own thread. Feel free to ask all the questions you may have!

Cherie

Cherie, loving your pictorial review! I have a question, but didn't want to have a silly question in the middle of the great pictures :)

Do you by any chance remember when the laditudes party and the suite party is? I am trying to decide when to book my entertainment, and i didn't not what to book anything during those times. I asked the pre-cruise concierge, but they only replied back saying there wasn't a laditudes party on the BA, but i thought i saw something about a silver and above one.

Thank you,

Thank you,

From one workingmom to another, can I please ask you about the suite party?

We are in the Haven on Getaway in August and, like you, do not want to pre-book anything the same date/time. Is everyone in a suite, invited to the party?

Thank you.
