Taxi to Nachi

Curious how much the taxi ride is each way from the cruise pier to Nachi? How long does it take? Will they accept USD? We are sailing on Princess if that makes a difference on where the ship docks.

Assuming Princess docks at Carnival's Puerta Maya pier when there is a spot available.

 

Taxi to Nachi will be $16 for up to four people from Puerta Maya or International pier (RCCL) next door.

 

Ride is about 15 minutes.

 

Yes they take USD...

 

Make sure you have small bills, as the taxi drivers conviently "have no change". (we usually just give them a $20 if they are helpful anyway)

 

If you wind up docking in town at the Punta Langosta pier (NCCL/Disney) then the ride will be another 5-10 minutes and a few dollars more.

 

But all taxis in Cozumel are regulated and the prices to almost every spot in town are usually posted right there where you catch your cab. (but always VERIFY with your driver when you get in, before you pull away)

Great advice above - I have never met a cab driver in Coz who did not accept USD$. Good luck! :)
