marypa Posted September 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2013 Does anyone know if suite passengers get preferential bording passes for the tenders? And are there any other "secret" extras suite passengers get that is not listed in the brochure We travelled on Princess and found a whole host of things - like the Chefs table - that are a bit of a secret..... I note that "Priority Tendering" has been removed from the list of official Suite Amenities, but I suspect that to be because it was never a process that worked smoothly in todays more egalitarian shipboard society. . That said, your Butler will be able to obtain Tender Tickets in advance, so that you will be able to proceed from your cabin to the tender lobby without stopping in a Lounge first. In fact, I'd have to say that ALL of the Suite Extras that come to mind, from Canapés to Canyon Ranch Spa Deck Access will best be explained to you by your Butler. He's not just a glorified Cabin Steward, use him wisely but well ;)
orchestrapal Posted September 27, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 27, 2013 'You'll love all the suite extras but it is best we keep them a secret. Enjoy all the perks and your butler after you board, be surprised.
ChatKat in Ca. Posted September 27, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2013 We travelled on Princess and found a whole host of things - like the Chefs table - that are a bit of a secret..... We love the Chef's Table on Princess - some of the best food experience we'd had at sea. I think that La Reserve will exceed Chef's Table based on my knowledge of food on Oceania.
Hambagahle Posted September 27, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2013 When we were on the Riviera in January our butler told us to simply go to the tender deck and show our key cards. We did that and were moved to the front of the line - or more precisely, bypassed it. We were in an Oceania Suite.
dlouise Posted September 27, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 27, 2013 We did the same this July. I do hope that they have not changed this perk, we really enjoyed this one.
treasure4two Posted September 29, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 29, 2013 What if 3 couples are in suites and 3 couples are not-are the 3 couples not in suites allowed to go off with Suite people if they are all going to be on the same private tour? Thank you!

Thank you! I would strongly doubt it since we're talking about a SUITE perk and not a group perk.
Iceberg 3 Posted September 29, 2013 #9 Share Posted September 29, 2013 I would strongly doubt it since we're talking about a SUITE perk and not a group perk. I'd ask by butler to work on it. Bet you all get off when you want.

hypercafe Posted September 30, 2013 #11 Share Posted September 30, 2013 These are small ships so the whole process goes very fast, I would not loose sleep over it. I also saw a butler told his group had to wait their turn in the lounge.
