namaste1223 Posted September 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2013 I am looking at return flights from Anchorage, AK to New York (preferably EWR). Is a 1 hr. 10 min. connection time long enough in the Seattle airport to switch planes if both are United flights? If not, is 2 hours ok? I assume the luggage can be checked through so we won't have to worry about collecting it and rechecking it. Thank you for any insights!
CruiserBruce Posted September 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2013 1:10 should be fine. If both are United flights, of course your bags will check thru.

Ashland Posted September 29, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2013 We just recently connected through Seattle from our ANC-BUR flight and it was one of the quickest and easiest we've used...You will have more than enough time.

Fattony Posted September 30, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 30, 2013 What time of year? If not in the summer, I'd go for the 2 hour connection if it's not more expensive or otherwise a burden.

We're planning to return from Alaska in the middle of August and this seemed to be the cheapest option with halfway decent times. Does the time of year make a difference? Thank you!
