Does the itinerary not matter?

Good to know - I'm not sure Royal Caribbean appeals to us in other ways, but it would be nice to have more options.

Royal offers completely difference experiences on different ships and itins. We just sailed to Canada and NE on Brilliance, and it was much closer to Celebrity we remember in terms of quality of food and service. There were almost no kids on board. Ship is cozy and beautiful, while it had many amenities of larger sisters.

We are cruise travelers so most of our cruises are to see the world, well at least from a cruisers view. If we like a place/country we usually will find a way to go back and visit in-depth. On the other hand, a cruise for cruise sake is a great getaway if you live in Fl or close like we do.

I have read post after post comparing ships, cabins, food, entertainment, etc. , but seldom see any reference to itinerary. We have been on 17 cruises and the itinerary is what determines our cruise line.
Yes, certainly the itinerary matters to many people.

But this is the Celebrity forum, the appropriate place for discussing topics specific to Celebrity Cruises.

When people post general itinerary questions or comments, the moderators usually move them to more appropriate forum locations, since they may also be applicable to other cruise lines that offer similar itineraries.

This helps to avoid a lot of needless repetition on multiple cruise line forums.

To give a few examples of such topics originally posted here on the Celebrity forum that recently got moved:

Moved: Anyone ever do the St john on your own tour?

Moved: Barcelona airport transportation to Gran Marina Hotel

Moved: Best transportation from Heathrow to Harwich Port

These types of questions and comments about St. John, or Barcelona, or London, or just about any other itinerary location are not limited to only one cruise line.
