sky0000547 Posted October 7, 2013 #54 Share Posted October 7, 2013 hi,can you just walk of the ship? or did you have to take transfers?how far was the centre of Vigo to walk? :D Vigo is a small town on a bit of a hill and these can all be done by walking. The ship docks right next to downtown and 10 mins walk and you are there. There is a shopping mall right next to the dock.
msw1023 Posted October 8, 2013 Author #55 Share Posted October 8, 2013 Yesterday , we were in Lanzarote. Quite simply the strangest places I've ever been. A volcano in 1730 changed the island forever, and ever winter volcanic ash blows all around. They use it to grow grapes and watermelon, but little else grows there. And of course the best way to see it is on camel. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
msw1023 Posted October 8, 2013 Author #56 Share Posted October 8, 2013 Today were in gran canaria. Rather than do an excursion, I decided to walk to the beach. Las palmas is a bustling city, very walkable, but there are also local buses which look very clean and affordable. msw1023 Posted October 9, 2013 Author #62 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Does the IOS have the freestyle coke machine? Have not seen them. But they are still doing some renovations of the promenade. Maybe they will go there shortly. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free

Cruzbear24 Posted October 11, 2013 #68 Share Posted October 11, 2013 Hi there. My first post. We are on Indy in 3 weeks on TA. Does she have kettles in the cabin ? :)
Clarea Posted October 11, 2013 #69 Share Posted October 11, 2013 Hi there. My first post. We are on Indy in 3 weeks on TA. Does she have kettles in the cabin ? :) Indy normally has kettles in all staterooms when sailing out of the UK. They take them out of all staterooms except for Junior Suites or higher when sailing out of the US. So, if you are in a JS or better, then you should have a kettle. If you're not in a JS or better, then the answer is maybe, because I don't know exactly when the kettles are removed when Indy is on her way to the US. Welcome to Cruise Critic!
