We always prefer to book directly with the cruise line for excursions for the chief reason that if the tour is late returning to port the ship will wait for you. If you arrive back from an independent tour the ship will not wait for you. This is a link to the Roll Call Section for the Silver Whisper. I did not see a roll call for your specific cruise but, you can post one and perhaps meet up with other passengers taking your voyage. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=897 Your itinerary covers the South Pacific. Here is a link to that area in the Port of Call section of Cruise Critic: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=104 You will also learn a lot by posting in the Silversea forum here at Cruise Critic: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=183 Have a wonderful cruise.
