Casino stays open if there are enough people playing. I have seen it open at 4am.

I thought it was royal but apparently not. Straight flush maybe? I don't know the exact hand, but I do remember he won 5k.

We were on a cruise playing blackjack about 2 am. 5 of us at the table. We hit a run, and all 5 of us were winning big. I was up about $5,000 and they decided it was quitting time. Told us they were shutting down at the end of the shoe. I would guess the 5 of us (who were fairly drunk) had won about $20,000 total in the last half hour.

 

It was great, paid for the cruise, plus the next one just on the winnings.

The Sensation has two ports that it goes to. We have a great time every time we sail on the Sensation.

We gamble. But if we want to just gamble we take a gambling ship out of port Canaveral.

Sensation's Let it Ride was hot. When I first got on the ship I hit a full house. I continued to play on a winning streak of: 3 3 card trips, 2 3 card straight flushes, 1 five card straight, 1 5 card flush. The lady playing next to me hit trip As 3 card, did not know she had the trip only knew she had the no brainer. Then the dealer flipped the 4th A. She won $1,000 and stayed at the table. 4 hands later she hit pair 9s, and dealer had the other 2. She won another $750.

But I'm also wondering if Carnival still has let it ride since Texas hold em seems to be the poker rage these days.

you could have started a new post. every Carnival ship i have been on has Let it Ride. The only hold em is an electronic table, not my favorite, but I play it because it's the only option.
