Best Transfers Between Port/Airports ???

I searched Cruise Critic but wasn't able to find a page for this type of info.

Is there such a "page" ?

 

Particularly, we're considering a NCL repositioning coastal cruise either:

 

• Vancouver to LA
  
• LA to Vancouver
  

My question is:

What's the preferred way to get from the port to LAX

or from LAX to the port?

 

I believe there's at least two "ports" in LA:

Long Beach and San Pedro.
