Treacher1 Posted October 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2013 Have one day in area on a cruise. Is there a specific place you suggest we go on Cocoa Beach where we can rent beach chairs and an umbrella for the afternoon?
harry0 Posted October 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2013 We just returned from a 2 day stay in Cocoa at the La Quinta Hotel on the beach-It is located at the fishing pier. There is a rental place where you can get a chair and umbrella. We had a great time.
youngestof9 Posted October 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 22, 2013 We had 1 day in PC aboard the Breakaway. We took a cab to Coconuts on the Beach for $8 per person - it's a really nice beach bar/restaurant. You walk right on the beach there and hang out. Not sure about chairs for rental as we didn't stay on the beach, but it's a nice spot.

We are also taking the Breakaway and deciding what to do while we are in PC- was searching the forum and after reading your post I looked up Coconuts and it sounds like a great place for some food and drinks and the beach. You say the cab was $8 pp...was that 8 dollars round trip or 8 dollars one way? We can get a shuttle through NCL for $15 round trip to Cocoa Beach but Im guessing its not anywhere near coconuts? Are there any other shops or things to do near coconuts? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much.
