Is the tram to Paradise Point open yet?

I've heard that the tram to Paradise Point has been closed quite a bit. Can anyone verify whether or not it will be open on Wednesday, November 6?

Not as of October 21. We were there.

There's a thread dedicated to this, they expected to re-open yesterday (Oct 27) following repairs to the tram and renovations to PP

New opening date is now November 1st, fingers crossed it happens this time.

We were told last week that the expected opening date is Nov. 1st or 2nd. Was so disappointed not to get my bushwacker.

I am keeping my fingers crossed-- any news? Sorry you missed out on your Bushwhacker :( I am hoping to try one soon!!

I read Nov 18th. I wish someone would let us know if it is open.

Tram not working yet, but some stores and the bar/restaurant are. At this point, driving up is the only option, have not heard a revised ETA, I understand they're waiting for a part.

Actually that was the situation a month ago, waiting patiently for a new update from the new owner and will post that.

You are correct, I did mean St. Thomas. No, I didn't know anything about a free shuttle. I certainly would've taken it if I had known. I just looked up the mountain and saw that it wasn't running. Bummer!

 

Really, a free shuttle to Paradise Point? And I missed it???

Sorry, I posted that in another thread titled Paradise Point aerial tram status or something similar. It just started recently though because the tram repair is behind schedule (was to be open Oct 17 then Nov 1). So the bar at PP is open just not the tram!
