johnstoc13 Posted November 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2013 Booked on Oasis next April in a suite! Finally! Looking for some updated information on menus in the concierge lounge. I did some research as always, but came up with bogus links and old info. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Also, any other info, suggestions, etc as a first time Suite pax would be great too! Thanks!
papaflamingo Posted November 9, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2013 Just off Oasis (Sep. 28 sailing). The Concierge Lounge is SPECTACULAR! Can't give you whole menu, but there are omlettes, quiche, cereals, pastries, bacon, other stuff at breakfast. Lunch had some salad selections, sliders, fries, some other nice selections, can't remember what else, but free beer and wine at lunch. But I remember it was a nice lunch and worth doing. The happy hour has very nice appetizers and full bar. They had the usual plus bacon wrapped scallops and other nice additions. Also Espresso 24 hrs a day. You won't be disappointed. Also the Gold Card deck is very nice. Has upgraded lounges, a private bar, some tables that you can look over the pools. If you are going to Labadee, Barefoot Beach is VERY nice! They'll take you by golf cart, a much nicer lunch, very nice beach with lots of lounge chairs. Gold card seating for theater and ice show is nothing special. In fact the seating for the theater is on the balcony and just so-so. Wouldn't bother with it. Hope this helps somewhat. I just love the concierge lounge. It is 2 story and looks out over the Boardwalk. Great place for breakfast, lunch, and happy hour. You'll really like it.

We will be in Labadee and was considering one of the cabana rentals. Any experience here or do you think it'd be worth it? Good to know about theatre seating as well. Not sure we'd like the balcony. Thanks!

Once with a cabana and once without. We had an over the water cabana. It was very nice. But, the second time we opted to just hang on the beach. We loved the cabana but frankly we didn't really miss it the second time around.
