LA (San Pedro) Port of Call

We were on the Holland America Oosterdam 9/29 from Seattle - Sydney with a port call in LA (San Pedro) where we picked up the next group of pax. We had arranged with Ken @ Sunseekers Tours months in advance for a group Cruise Critic tour of LA. He had been so cooperative in giving us what we wanted to see in the short time frame allotted. Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn't cooperated and a freakish Sept storm rolled in prevented ships from leaving Seattle/Vancouver, so we were stuck overnight, making us a day late arriving in LA where our best laid plans could not be re-done. We were in contact with Ken as soon as we knew the situation & he couldn't have been nicer & more understanding. We, in particular were heartbroken since we had our Australian pax on the tour & we were all so excited to see at least a bit of LA .... admittedly not enough.

Ken was so kind....he had been good to us since we started arranging the tour. I urge everyone to give him a call - he is a true gentleman!
