Where to purchase wine near FLL port

I would not walk there, but near the port entrance is Total Wine -- you can shop on-line and have your selections ready for pick-up and purchase; just ask your cab driver from FLL to stop there on the way to the port (he will be happy to keep the meter running ).

We'll be switching ships in FLL port, so will already be in port. Are you suggesting taxi as it's too far or too dangerous to walk from the port?

Take a taxi. Port Everglades is a large facility and not really pedestrian friendly. Total Wine and Publix Supermarket are very close to the port on SE 17th Street.

New here so if this has been covered, my apologies. Is there a limit to how many bottles of wine we can bring in board the Westerdam for cabin consumption? Sailing December 7.

HAL is very liberal. Check your cruiseline documents for official policy and/or head over to the HAL board to get personal experiences.

We were able to bring wine on at embarkation as well as at ports of call when we cruised HAL in New England/Canada. in fact we carried on a box of 6 bottles at one port of call with out incident.
