Flying late into FLL & cruising out of Miami.

We will be flying into FLL late in the night (11PM). Cruising out of Miami the next day. Best to stay there in FLL? Or best to get a towncar to Miami hotel and use hotel to port shuttles in the AM? 4 of us. Appreciate any insight. Is one city pricier than the other?

I would stay in FLL close to the airport ...then in the morning get a shuttle or private transfer to POM

I agree. I would stay at a Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel.

Getting in that late, my choice would be to get into a hotel near the FLL airport. Plenty of time to get to the port in MIA the next day:) Either way you have the expense of getting to MIA, may as well be after getting a good nights rest in FLL.

Thank you! I will look into which hotels have an airport shuttle late at night.

We will still be on CA time and probably just looking for a nice dinner before bed!

The Holiday Inn Express Convention Center offers a 24 hr airport shuttle. Most hotel shuttles will not be running when you come in. It would probably make sense to just book an inexpensive hotel and take a taxi. Check out Sleep Inn Dania, LaQuinta Hollywood, and Days Inn Hollywood/Sheridan St., hotels that have been recently booked by CC members at low prices, and that are safe and get ok ratings on tripadvisor. Taxi ride will only be $10-20 per cab.
